TATYANA
RICHAUD

Tatyana Richaud is a 20 year old film composer and singer/songwriter. She has arranged and scored numerous award winning short films, and has collaborated with top tier professional composers on TV series & features. She is currently studying at New York University where she's majoring in Screen Scoring.

An LA native, she has studied at Colburn Conservatory, Pasadena Conservatory, Riko Method and Silverlake Conservatory of Music. She is a dual US/French citizen and native French speaker.

 

Under the direction of composer Graham Coxon (founding member of Blur), she sang lead female vocals for the band Bloodwitch, prominently featured in the Netflix hit series I Am Not Okay With This. She was one of 5 musicians selected for KCRW's Young Creators Project, which spotlights the best emerging artists under 21 in Southern California. Her song It's Not a Problem was featured as KCRW's Today's Top Tune in 2022, and her song Work It Out was featured as Today's Top Tune in 2024. She is also the recipient of the prestigious Alan Menken Scholarship at NYU. 

 

In 2023/24, she was selected as a composer for the festival Music et Cinema in Marseille. She is a 2022 National YoungArts Foundation winner in Voice - Singer/Songwriter. In 2021, she was nominated twice at the All-American High School Film Festival for the Teen Indie awards, for Best Original Score. In 2022, she also won Best Music Video at the AAHSF for her work on Understand That directed by Benji Tucker. She was also awarded Best Film Score at LACHSA’s end of the year festival; Moondance in 2021.
